Our Tours: Length of Tour
Our tours run approximately 4 hours. We have both morning or afternoon tours available. All of our custom 4x4 vehicles carry ice pack coolers. You will be supplied with free sodas and water on your trip.
Photo Safari
Our new Photo Safari was designed to be easily translated into foreign languages. In fact we currently have this program available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. With more and more international travelers visiting the Valley, we thought it was time to design something just for them.
With our Photo Safari, you will receive a customized book with your logo. We will supply you with a camera so that you may take the photos that are called for in the book. Participants will be asked to write poems about their team or organization, answer true and false questions about the desert, and share in the team building spirit.
Sonoran Desert
The Sonoran Desert is an arid region covering 120,000 square miles in southwestern Arizona and southeastern California, as well as most of Baja California and the western half of the state of Sonora, Mexico. Subdivisions of this hot, dry region include the Colorado and Yuma deserts.
This is the hottest of our North American deserts, but a distinctly bimodal rainfall pattern produces a high biological diversity. Winter storms from the Pacific nourish many West Coast annuals such as poppies and lupines, while well-developed summer monsoons host both annuals and woody plants originating from the south.
